Hey. Paul Adamson here. Now, I’m literally just driving across to the west of Ireland.
I’m speaking at an event here tomorrow. I’ve just literally had to pull over and literally just put the phone on and record this quick little video for you because I want to talk to you about what I call inspired thought. What do I mean by inspired thought?
Inspired thoughts are those moments of insight that we all get and they can be at the most random times where we suddenly get an incredible idea or suddenly the impossible becomes possible. We get that insight in our mind or that inspired thought.
Now, here’s the thing and this is what I’ve learned is as soon as you get that moment of insight, as soon as you get that inspired thought, the most important thing that you must do right in that moment is take action. What I mean by that is you need to capture it.
You need to write it down, you need to pick up and call the person that you were thinking about, you need to drop them a text, write them an email, whatever it may be, but something that locks you in so that piece of inspired thought doesn’t just disappear off into the ether again. Because that’s what happens, isn’t it?
How many ideas have you had where you’re like, “God, that’s a really good idea.” Then you kind of just let it go or you go back to whatever you were doing and then it’s gone. Of course, you may never think of it again. Even if you do think of it again and it’s 6, or 12, or 18 months down the line, it may be too late anyway.
This is what I’ve learned. Whenever you get that moment of inspired thought, whenever you get that moment of insight that you’re like, “This is how I’m going to do this, this is how I’m going to create the results that I want to create,” then you must take action in the moment. Lock yourself in.
Of course, what happens when you lock yourself in? It means you’re going to start invoking one of the most powerful laws in the world that we live in, and that’s the law of momentum, meaning that you start to put more energy, you take more action, and you start to put weight behind whatever that idea may be.
Wherever you are in the world, I hope this video has served you in some way. Hey, I’d love you to leave me a like, share this, or leave me a bit of feedback, a comment, whatever it may be. And if not, that’s totally cool. I’ll see you in the next video. But remember, one life, live it. I look forward to speaking to you very, very soon.
